Twenty years ago,the first resealable consurmer food package made its entree onot North American shelves in the form of Sargento's shredded cheese package,utilizing Zip Pak((Manteno,IL)technology.In the years Since,resealeble bags have become the norm for shredded cheese in U.S.and other markets but changes are coming with the press-and-close sealing mechanism being replaced by newer slider technoogies,if for no other reason than domestic tranquility.
