Production of key products for plastic packaging materials in chian hit just over 4 million tonnes in 2002,a 14.2% rise over 2001.a report by the assn.of china plastic processing industry shows that major substrate film materials used for composite flexible packaging include pet,bopp,vmpet,vmcpp,pe,cpp,adn al,with output of these materials sufficient to meet domestic demand,with some even allocated for exports.
