Turkish pipe processors are seeing a shortage of random copolymer polypropylene (PP) that is putting a pinch on their operations.The material is used to extrude hot- and cold-water piping for the housing market as well as under-floor heating.Market analysts at online information service ChemOrbis (Istanbul,Turkey;www.chemorbis.com) report several factors conspiring to generate the current shortage,some home-grown and others from outside forces.
