Buyout firm Cerberus Capital Management LP (New York) has announced its (CDN) US1.03 billion bid for Wood-bridge,ON-based Royal Group Technologies Ltd.,one of the largest North American plastics processors involved in the construction industry.The bid is tentative,based on due diligence,and may also hinge on an ongoing investigation by the U.S.Dept.of Justice (DOJ) into allegations of price fixing and accounting irregularities at Royal Group.
