Size Does Matter For Injection Units

Last month, we discussed clamp requirements for molds. Another area where size counts in the mold/machine-matching equation is the injection unit. Proper screw selection and L/D and compression ratios, while important, are more related to the plastic material and aren't addressed in mold-machine sizing.
