In europe, recycling legislation covering packaging, automotive, and electrical/electronics is, respectively, being proposed, phased in, and prepared for implementation. The recommendations to packaging update already strict rules for European processors, while the automotive legislation is so new that it is difficult to determine how it will affect processors, though it seems certain to increase use of easily disassembled monomaterial parts.
