Blown Film Processors seek the right mix

Getting the proper mix is more important than ever to blown film processors as they downgage and use more pigments, tackifiers, and demanding resins. Single-screw extruders used for blown film, however, have limited mixing performance. One way processors are improving the homogeneity of their melt is to pay particular attention to what type of mixing screw or mixing tip they use.
