Move over gas-assist injection molding. Adoption of the externally-applied variant is set to expand this year as leading suppliers make a concerted effort to highlight the process' ability to produce superior surface finish, while placing fewer limitations on part design. In fact, the only real limitation is that the part have only one visible surface.
