New injection moldable PP can replace glass-fibre grades

The Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research has developed a new material from conventional polypropylene and cellulosic tire yarn it says is an alternative to glass-fibre reinforced PP.The material,PPRayCo25,is a 25% cellulosic-fibre reinforced grade of PP with very high strength and impact resistance.
