A group of companies has collaborated to develop what is being billed as the world's first compostable bottle.BIOTA Brands of America developed the bottle for its new line of premium Colorado spring water.The bottle is made of NatureWorks'PLA-corn-based resin and is compatible with all municipal/industrial composting facilities,according to NatureWorks LLC,(formerly Dow Cargill).
