We present an application of an ideal bosonic q-gas in a nu(0) inequivalent representation to the phonons in He-4 and discuss the role of q-deformation as a possible mechanism to supply the energy deficit that forbiddens one-phonon decay into two phonons when the constant gamma in the phonon anomalous dispersion relation (omega(ph) = c(0)p(1 - gamma p(2))) is positive.
