Fulcrum BioEncrgy Inc. said it has closed a Series C financing. A portion of the $75 mln parcel would be used to complete its Sierra BioFuels project. The $120 mln project due to be set up in Storey County in Nevada will produce up to 10.5 mln gallons of cellulosic ethanol from municipal solid waste in a thermochemical conversion process from 2012.
