Full-color mold plaques have been developed for the North American tooling and plastics industries that identify a mold or die's parts quickly and easily - saving engineering time and money. The plaques - introduced by mold component supplier DMS (Oldcastle, ON) in conjunction with ICS Laser Technologies (Windsor, ON) - feature thermal set graphics. According to DMS North American Sales Manager Mike Hicks, the simplified data transfer is in a jpeg format; and 300 DPI files are available options, "Simply dimension the part in any color combination and e-mail it to DMS," Hicks says. "These plaques are cost competitive, protective coated and field tested, with a quick delivery, which is supported by experienced technical support." In addition, DMS will be selling supportive ID tags, asset tags and die tags, as well as other industry-related information plaques.
