The Company CPA Systems GmbH has been charged with the development of aweb-based information system of records of past transactions for the Land (state of the FederalRepublic) Brandenburg. The primary objective consisted in ensuring a GDI-conformous imple-mentation of the VBORIS models of the AdV (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Vermessungsverwal-tungen der Lander der Bundesrepublik Deutschland/Working Committee of the Surveyingand Mapping Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany). VBORIS (Net-worked Ground Valuation System) stands in this context for the target of establishing, at aLander-crossing level, uniform structures and architectures, which can be mutually utilizedand producer-independently integrated into different applications, that is, as service architec-tures in the sense of the SOA specifications (Service-Oriented-Architecture). The System of"Records of Past Transactions-Online" should accordingly provide on the server side OGCconformal services such as WFS (Web Feature Service) and WMS (Web Map Service) for theaccess to records of past transactions, and on the client side a web surface basing exclusivelyon open-source components for the visualization and query of the records of past transactionsas well as for the ordering of charged services. For navigation on the dataset further, alreadyexisting OGC services should be integrated and visualized. Settlement of charged servicesshould be effected through a WPOS (Web Pricing and Ordering Service). The project is pres-ently in the test phase performed by the LGB (Landesvermessung/State Survey Office und /and Geobasisinformation/Basic Geoinformation Brandenburg). This contribution supplies anup-to-date status report.
