The Active GPS Reference System of the Netherlands(AGRS.NL) consists of five permanent stations operatingcontinuously since 1997. AGRS.NL is delivering measure-ment data with a 30 second interval for post processing.This system forms the basis of ETRS89 in the Netherlands.The coordinates of the passive GPS-base points and certifiedRTK-GPS stations are computed relative to the AGRS.NL.The station of Terschelling on an island in the North of theNetherlands is being transferred to a more stable locationin the vicinity. In the near future, the number of stations willbe extended to seven to ensure the necessary long-termstability of ETRS89 in the Netherlands.
