摘要

The navigational data presently available on a commercial basis have been col-lected especially for the needs of vehicle navigation, thus containing generally no informationrelevant to pedestrians. Therefore, it is not always possible to provide the shortest way to thepedestrians by means of these data, given that path elements that have been reserved to pedes-trians are normally not collected with such data. It is to be shown by the present contribution that the official spatial base datasets of ALK andATKIS can be successfully employed for the supply of a pedestrian navigation dataset. Bymeans of such data and appropriate additional information from internal indoor building dataa routing-suited dataset can be generated meeting the specific needs for pedestrians.
