摘要

Canadian partners in the Zinc Alliance for Child Health (ZACH) have pledged C$1.5 million (US$1.42 million) to fund the expansion of a diarrhoea treatment programme for children in the Indian state of Gujarat. The funding provided by the alliance, which comprises Teck Resources Ltd, the Micronutrient Initiative (Ml) and the Government of Canada, will go towards expanding the existing Diarrhoea Alleviation through Zinc and ORS Therapy (DATZ) project, which has already been launched across six districts of Gujarat, reaching around 270,000 children.
