ArcelorMittal raises stake in Uttam Galva

ArcelorMittal recently acquired 29 per cent stake in Uttam Galva Steels for 422 Rupees crore through an open offer, taking its holding in the domestic firm to 34 per cent. The steel giant has acquired 35.2 million shares from the open market at a price of 120 Rupees a share, aggregating to 422 Rupees crore, the company said in its statement to BSE.
