The Swedish Height System RH 2000as a National Realisation of EVRS

The work to compute the third precise levelling in Sweden hasmainly been performed as a Nordic cooperation under theumbrella of the Nordic Geodetic Commission (NKG). Due to theacute need of a new system, Sweden had to finalise the projectahead of the other Nordic countries. It was decided that theSwedish height system (frame) RH 2000 should be a realisationof the European Vertical Reference System (EVRS) using theNormaal Amsterdams Peil (NAP) as zero level. Presupposingthese choices, the most crucial part of the definition of RH 2000is the specification of a model for the reduction of postglacialrebound.
