SENATOR GRASSLEY SAYS BIODIESEL TAX CREDIT LIKELY TO BE EXTENDED IN 2014

The biodiesel blender's tax credit - a crucial incentive for biodiesel manufacturers and importers - may be extended in 2014, but not before expiring at the end of 2013, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley said. The Senate Finance Committee is expected to prepare a legislative package in 2014 extending some 50 expiring tax provisions, including the $1 per gallon biodiesel blender tax credit.
