ETHANOL STOCK DRAW-DOWN ACCELERATES AS CRUSHING SEASON ENDS

Stocks in the Centre/South are now increasingly being depleted as the crushing season has drawn to an end. Nevertheless, the overall level of stocks remained above last year, mostly because of poor demand. In the Centre/South a total of 6.408 bln litres were in inventories as of January 1, 2013, down from 7.128 bln a fortnight earlier, but above the 5.785 bln litres on January 1, 2012.
