ASTM ESTABLISHES STANDARD FOR AVIATION BIOFUEL

US-based standards organisation ASTM International has introduced new provisions for the conventional jet fuel standard. The revised ASTM D7566-11 standard, approved July 1, 2011, includes that up to 50% of bio-derived synthetic blending components can be added to conventional jet fuel.
