GUARANI'S 2016/17 CANE CRUSH ENDS AT 19.8 MLNT

Tereos Internacional's subsidiary Guarani crushed a total of 19.8 mln tonnes of cane at its seven mills during the 2016/17 cycle. Of the total 8.5 mln tonnes were its own cane while the remainder was purchased from independent growers. This compares with 19.5 mln tonnes in 2015/16. Initially the company had expected to crush 20.5 mln tonnes.
