LOW CORN PRICES BOOST THE ANDERSONS' ETHANOL RESULTS TO RECORD LEVEL

US agribusiness company The Andersons Inc. reported very strong results from its ethanol business in Apr/Jun 2013, following a decline in corn prices. The company's Ethanol Group achieved record operating income of $10.6 mln in the second quarter on revenues of $222 mln. This compares to an operating loss of $-2.1 mln during the same period last year on revenues of $168 mln.
