摘要

Preliminary data on Renewable Identification Number (RIN) generation issued by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) imply an ongoing strong FAME demand for the month of July. RIN generation from cane ethanol settled at a 7-month high and remained sharply higher than last year. The y/y decline in RIN generation from corn ethanol reflects the weaker gasoline demand and the lack of E-15 and other higher blends. Exceptional y/y growth for RIN generation was also seen for the smaller segments, i.e. hydrotreated vegetable oils (HVO) and cellulosic biofuels.
