FAST PACE OF ETHANOL PRODUCTION BOOSTS STOCKS

The fast pace of ethanol production in the first weeks of the 2013/14 production cycle has helped to replenish tight inventories. As of July 1, 2013, a total of 2.666 bln litres were stored at mills in the Centre/South, up from 1.998 bln 12 months earlier. However, by historical standards the inventory level at this point in time still remains comparably low.
