EXISTENCE AND MULTIPLICITY OF POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TOA SEMIPOSITONE (N, P) BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

The existence of multiple positive solutions is considered for a nonlinear (n, p) boundary valueproblem where the nonlinear term has a lower bound of function type. By investigating Greenfunction a suitable cone is constructed. By applying fixed point theorem on cone the existenceof m positive solutions is established where m is an arbitrary positive integer.
