TILAKNAGAR INDUSTRIES ACQUIRES SHIVPRABHA SUGARS

Tilaknagar Industries Ltd., an alcoholic beverage producer in India, has announced the acquisition of Maharashtra-based Shivprabha Sugars Ltd. by acquiring a 90% stake in the company. Shivprabha Sugars has obtained the necessary permissions for setting up a plant with a cane crushing capacity of 2,500 tonnes per day, a distillery of 30,000 litres per day and 12 MWel of cogeneration capacity.
