THE ANDERSONS' ETHANOL MARGINS REBOUND

US agribusiness company The Andersons Inc. reported y/y growth in revenues and income from its Ethanol Group in Jul/Sep 2016. However, the Jan/Sep totals were down on the year. The division delivered another quarterly production volume record, producing a third quarter best of 95.4 mln gallons compared to the 93.5 mln in the same period of the prior year. It generated pre-tax income of $9.5 mln during the third quarter ($5.9 mln).
