Final energy bill should 'expand use of new technologies,' Abraham says

The final energy bill that emerges from the House-Senate conference now underway should, among other things, "expand the use of new technologies" and improve energy efficiency, Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham said in a letter outlining the Bush administration's position on matters under consideration by the panel.
