The International Lead and Zinc Study Group recently held its fifty-sixth session in Lisbon, Portugal. The group reviewed the current levels of world supply & demand for lead and zinc and the outlook for 2012. Here's is the outlook for lead and zinc presented by ILZSG: The group expects that global usage of refined lead metal will increase by 6.1% to 10.15 million tonne (mt) in 2011 and a further 4% to 10.56 mt in 2012.
