Precious metals move up on positive global cues

The gold prices in India edged higher on Friday, retreating from the earlier losses, in tandem with overseas markets, though a stronger rupee kept the upside limited, according to dealers. On Friday (Oct 14), gold prices gained in the major metros in India. In Mumbai the standard (99.5 puritv) and Dure (99.9 puritv) gold were ud at Rs 26.965 and Rs 27.085 per 10 grams respectively.
