The developing countries specially have shown a marked rise in the pace of economic growth in recent years with focus on science, technology & innovations. If the trends available are to be believed, there is likely to be a shift in economic power towards the third world countries in the 21st century. Mineral processing technologies are changing the face of the mineral industry. For a sustainable future to enhance maximum recovery value from mineral ore is a primary goal of the mineral processing industry. Due to huge demand from the rapidly growing infrastructure and industrialisation, the consumption of ores are increasing day by day. As a result, it has catapulted demand in the main exporting BRICS countries which are the largest consumer of metals.
