Railways, Urban Development Ministries sign MoU to redevelop stations

With the idea that there can't be asmart city without a smart railwaystation, the Ministry of UrbanDevelopment and the Ministry ofRailways on Wednesday lastsigned an MoU under whichrailway stations and adjoiningareas will be redeveloped on smartcity lines for enhancing passengeramenities, easy access to stations,enabling optimal utilisation ofland at railway stations.
