Hindustan Zinc may invest Rs 8,000 cr in next 3-5 years

The Vedanta Group subsidiary,Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL), willinvest Rs 8,000 crore in the next3-5 years as the Vedanta Groupfirm looks to expand operationsand capacity.The company aims to takethe existing ore productionlevels of 9.36 million tonnesper annum (MTPA) to 14 MTPAand finished metal production to1.10 MTPA from 0.85 MTPA,Hindustan Zinc said ina statement.
