One of the key factors for accelerating economic revival is the holistic development of the mining sector on which subsist a host of basic industries. In this context the role of the mining sector is crucial in meeting the ever increasing demand for minerals and metals. To put the economy back on the track, the government is set to award infra projects worth Rs 1,50,000 cr in the next six months which will unleash huge demand for metals. Therefore, improving automation technology in mining is the top priority to make mining easier and productive. Following the economic downturn, mining and metal processing companies are looking to improvise upon their technologies to boost efficiency.
