The HR coil import C&F price in East Asia areas has dropped below 300 dollars/ton recently, and many importers have breached their contract in order to avoid large stock. The price quotation fluctuates intensely nowdays, for example, the Russian products C&F quota has been around 310 dollars/ton, while some CIS products C&F quotation has been as low as 280-290 dollars/ton. It is said that many importers have breached their contract, while even 50 percent contract are terminated, there are still another half to arrive, which will still lead to large stock. The current market is in severe oversupply, and the market price has dropped sharply.
