Samuel Gompers, a US-based unionist of many years, was once asked by a scribe "Mr. , Gompers, you have been a union leader for decades. What exactly does labour want?" he replied "More". This sums up the desire of all of us humans. Scams occur when someone wants 'more' than what he legally deserves. In India, we seem to be in a season of scams and corruption right now adding more chill to the winters. The 2G, CWG and Adarsh has brought the credibility of the country to a new low and the people are disillusioned and worried about where the matters are headed. The transition from unreal optimism to cynical gloom in just a few weeks is breathtaking.
