摘要

Copper broke another all-time high in the official pricing session at the London Metal Exchange (LME) on Thursday (April 13) attracting sizeable volumes while gold prices remained stable amid thin trading volumes in the run up to the UK holiday weekend. The yellow metal was fixed at 597 dollars per oz on Thursday morning before falling to 593 dollars in the afternoon, compared with 597.25 dollars on Wednesday afternoon and 596.75 dollars on Wednesday morning. Silver fell for the first time in eight days to fix at 12.61 dollars cents per oz on Thursday, compared with 12.75 dollars on Wednesday (April 12). "Both silver and gold were overbought slightly and the market was trying to correct that today. In general business was very thin as everything wound down for the holidays," explained one trader.
