Manek Metal (India) gearing for rising demand for stainless steel utensils

With the strong economic growth and urbanization in China, India, Brazil and other countries, the demand for stainless steel is expected to increase in 2012. Currently, production of utensils consumes the largest amount of stainless steel in the country, accounting for 70.5% of total consumption of the metal. The majority of utensil products are manufactured in the SME sector, which consists of more than 6000 production units across the country.
