Steel Prices of steel long see falling trend amid slump in demand

The month of June 2015 continued to witness a bearish trend in the steel long prices across the country. The prices at the prime benchmark location at Mandi Gobindgarh witnessed a fall of around Rs 1,000/MT during the month. The prices at the other major steel markets across the country too witnessed a similar fall during the month. The demand scenario for steel long products continued to witness a slump amidst falling prices of raw materials witnessed during the month. With the fall witnessed during the month, the steel long prices in the country continued to remain at a four and half year low across all key locations.
