Bhilai's new Sinter Plant ||| to improve productivity

With the start of the 3 mtpy state-of -the-art sintering plant at Bhilai costing Rs. 8.09 bn, the consumption per ton of hot metal has fallen to 499 kgs per ton, the lowest for any blast furnace in India. There is scope to add another 3 mtpy capacity at the plant.
