Confronting challenges in ferro alloys industry

India's ferro alloys industry is performing well currently since there is local demand as well as demand from China. The demand is expected to stay for another couple of years and since India has availability of resources, it can compete with world market. "Demand for ferro alloys will be huge as there is infrastructure push in India. The demand for ferro alloys has gone up and recession too has come to an end resulting into upward movement of prices," says Kumarpal Jain, Director, J Poonamchand & Sons Ltd.
