On September 29, Huntsman announced that the Delaware Court of Chancery had found in its favour in the lawsuit filed by Hexion Specialty Chemicals (Hexion) to break its 10.6 billion US dollars merger agreement with Huntsman. The court also ordered Hexion to take all actions necessary to consummate the transaction, with the merger agreement termination date being extended until the court determines that Hexion has fully complied with the court's order. Hexion stated it was disappointed by the court's decision and was reviewing the decision and its options.
