In a statement issued on 7 February, Australian Zircon said that its Mindarie concentrator had successfully operated at 600 tonnes per hour of feed, and had even achieved 650 tonnes per hour for short periods. The nameplate capacity of the plant is 550 tonnes per hour. In January, the average feedrate was 450 tonnes per hour, with a plant availability of 65 percent. The company said that the next step was to increase federate to a sustainable 600 tonnes per hour and lift plant availability to 85 percent.
