Despite the digital revolution, there is still a place for analogue products and in particular combined products. Mixed signal products combine both analogue and digital functions on the same silicon chip. One of the leading producers of mixed signal products is the German manufacturer ZMD AG, which has its global headquarters in Dresden. The dynamic company has defied the current downwards trend in the electronics market to post continuously rising sales figures over the last three years. This has been largely due to a shift in its strategy.
