One of world's largest side scraper reclaimers commissioned in record time

One of the world's largest side scraper reclaimers has been commissioned at Samancor's Metalloys division in Meyerton, by mining and materials handling specialist, Krupp MMH.The fully automated, remote controlled reclaimer handles 15 different materials at up to 1000m~3/ hour. Even though capable of around 4000tph, due to a density spread varying between 0,63t/m~3 and 4t/m~3, the reclaimer bas been electronically limited to 1500tph.
