Platinum mines order underground filter presses

Sandton-based Delkor Technik has received several orders from platinum mines for Delkor Underground Filter Presses. Other recent orders have been received from Beatrix Gold Mine, Mponeng Gold Mine-which is a repeat-as well as orders from the UK and USA.A 1 000mm unit has been designed, manufactured and installed by Delkor at Amandelbult Platinum Mine, where it is used for the treatment of slimes, replacing a chemical additive system used to solidify the ore for transportation by belt conveyor. The underground filter press is mounted above the existing ore conveyor.
