ExxonMobil ships early at PNG LNG project

Exxon Mobil Corp. began shipping LNG through its $19 billion PNG LNG project in Papua New Guinea ahead of schedule. Production from the first LNG train will ramp up during the coming weeks, and the first cargo is expected to ship to Asia markets before midyear. Work on the second train is progressing, and production from the unit is expected in the next several weeks.
