Intellectual Property Patently Obvious

Patent law is, for many lawyers, a mystery. Whilst it is possible to read and comprehend the statutes, the intricacies of claims and the technical wording of the patent specifications are for most of us an alien world. Even the legal interpretation is something of a mystery. At least, however, we have some clarity (perhaps) from the Intellectual Property Owners Association and the European Patent Office on what we cannot patent - computer programs as such. I wonder what that really means.
